Jasir Adeyemi, is a soldier called by God to build an Army of men with a mission to change the spiritual and mental climate in our local neighborhoods.
Jasir is a native of Detroit, Michigan, where his parents the late Pastor C.M Johnson and Minister Bernice T. Johnson nurtured him in ministry. During his formative years he had a desire for change. What he saw every day was a direct contrast to what he knew was possible with God. He knew then that neither he nor those around him had to accept their unhappy, economic situations. There was more to life than getting up everyday going to a job that left you unfulfilled, living in a neighborhood where no one supported or cared for one another, or seeking relief in vices such as drugs and alcohol.
After graduating from a prestigious Detroit high school, Jasir received an academic scholarship to Iowa State University (ISU). During his freshman year at ISU he realized that mental oppression, addiction and poverty mentality are not just the plight of the inner city but also that of men of all races and economic backgrounds.
Jasir knew that something needed to be done. Not fully equipped with the tools to change this reality his only outlet was to rebel against what he experienced on the daily basis. In 1999 God transformed Jasir’s aggressions for change into a mission. During a 10-min daytime open vision, God outlined the plan for his life:
Build an army of MEN to protect against the moral and spiritual demise of our nation.
Since 1999 being lead by God, Jasir has served under five pastors in four states; each time gaining more power and greater revelation. He has held many positions in the “Traditional Church:”
• Head of the men’s ministry
• Pastor’s assistant
• Financial counselor
• Economic planning boards
• President of Outreach
• Head of street ministry
Those leadership roles have prepared him to lead and empower God’s Army.
In 2003 two life events occurred:
1. Jasir first gained true evidence of God’s voice when it was revealed to him that his best friend would die tragically in a fatal accident. This tragedy made him see God in a different light. And he began to seek a way to teach others how to hone the power of God.
2. Jasir changed his last name to Adeyemi. A Nigerian word meaning” the crown suits me well”. This was a part of a prophecy he was giving back in 1995. That he would teach, heal and prophesy for God.
The Adeyemi anointing not only offers strength and wealth to his family, but gives a Joseph’s anointing to help those bound and in financial and spiritual droughts. Over the past 10 years he has seen many proofs being connecting forces in believer’s receiving financial and spiritual blessings.
God has equipped Jasir to lead his army and restore what was lost. His methods and leadership style are unlike current ministries. In order to teach the people you have to reach the people and that means meeting them where they are…in the streets. Jasir leverages his style, ability to relate to all mankind, phenomenal counseling ability, powerful worship and teaching to build an Army of the Lord.
It is time now to come from behind the mountain and march on to victory in God with the men of America.
